The survey carried out among the chief executives of the municipalities in France and in Belgium, which is the subject of this 'Cahier', is a continuation of the one carried out by this same office on “major players”.
These two surveys seek the same aim: to obtain a better idea of the perceptions, expectations, constraints, trends against the background of the current “metropolisation” process.
This second survey not only confirms the information collected during the first one, but also offers a better insight into the items that have been identified.
In particular, it helps to differentiate the constraints and the expectations according to the location and the size of the municipalities, and to identify worthwhile, consensual themes for future actions to be undertaken.
