At the request of the Cross-Border Workshop, the Leiedal inter-municipal authority and the Agence de développement et d'urbanisme have carried out a survey on the recreational cycling opportunities in the territory of the cross-border metropolis. The survey primarily seeks to promote a potential convergence and a complementary relationship between the plans and projects available.
In the light of the intelligence that has been gathered (and summarised in the report) an overall concept and a strategic approach are proposed for the development of comprehensive recreational cycling facilities on offer in the cross-border metropolis.
